The short version
bexio is business software for Swiss SMEs. It covers accounting, VAT, e-banking, payroll and sales documents, and it keeps its data in Switzerland. Projects and time tracking are only part of the Optima and Ultimate packages. If you want your bookkeeping and your invoices in one place, bexio is the better choice.
Buezli is not accounting software. It covers the path from project time to a paid invoice: timesheets, estimates, invoices with Swiss QR bills, payments and project budgets. Bookkeeping, VAT and payroll stay with your fiduciary or your accounting tool, and that tool can still be bexio.

Questions and answers
Is buezli.app accounting software?
No. Buezli tracks time and expenses, creates estimates and invoices and records payments. It has no bookkeeping, VAT returns, bank reconciliation or payroll. Keep bexio, another accounting tool or your fiduciary for that.
Can I use buezli.app together with bexio?
Yes, side by side. There's no connection between the two, so you record Buezli invoices and payments in your accounting yourself or pass them to your fiduciary.
Which bexio package includes time tracking?
According to bexio's package comparison, projects and time tracking are only included in Optima and Ultimate. Optima costs CHF 69 per month, billed annually, and includes 5 users.
Does buezli.app create Swiss QR bills?
Yes, for CHF invoices when your account is based in Switzerland. You need an IBAN or QR-IBAN, the account holder and a structured address. QR bills in EUR aren't supported.
Can I import my data from bexio?
No. Buezli has no importer. Set up your active clients and projects by hand. Your earlier invoices stay in bexio.
