The short version

MOCO is a broad agency suite. Next to time tracking and invoicing it covers quotes, absences, capacity planning, pre-accounting and DATEV exports. It's hosted in Switzerland and well established in German-speaking countries. If your team plans people and absences in the same tool, MOCO does more than Buezli.

Buezli is narrower. It covers the path from tracked time to a paid invoice: timesheets, estimates, invoices, Swiss QR bills, payments and project budgets. There's no planning, HR or dunning. You get one plan for CHF 99 per active user per year, where MOCO Core costs CHF 180 per user per year.

Buezli costs CHF 99 per active user and is billed yearly. MOCO Core costs EUR 15 per user per month and is billed monthly. MOCO shows no yearly price, so its column is 12 monthly payments. MOCO's FAQ gives the Core price as 15 EUR or CHF. MOCO Pro, which adds capacity planning, costs EUR 21 per user per month.

Moving from MOCO to Buezli

There's no importer. Most small teams only need their active clients and projects in the new tool, and the history stays in MOCO's documents and reports.

  1. 1

    Pick a cutover date

The start of a month works well. Track time in MOCO until then and send the last invoices from there, so every invoice has one home.

  2. 2

Set up active clients and projects

Create the clients and projects you're working on now, with their rates and currencies. Invite your team.

  3. 3

    Keep your old records

Download the invoices and reports you want to keep before you cancel MOCO. MOCO states that it has no notice periods.

  4. 4

    Track and invoice in Buezli

From the cutover date, everyone tracks time in Buezli and the next invoices come from there.
