Why we built a Harvest alternative
We used Harvest for years for our own client work at Codegestalt. Then we built Buezli around the same routine and moved our own time tracking and invoicing over to it. Weekly hours, estimates, invoices and payments come in one plan with one yearly price.
Harvest does more. It has timers and native apps, 50+ integrations and, by its own count, more than 70,000 businesses using it. If you depend on those, stay with Harvest. If your team works in German, French or Italian, you bill Swiss clients with QR bills, or you want a price that doesn't grow with your projects and invoices, Buezli is the simpler fit.

Questions and answers
How much does Harvest cost?
Harvest's Teams plan costs USD 9 per seat per month billed annually, or USD 11 billed monthly. Enterprise costs USD 14 or USD 17.50. From the second paid renewal, usage charges for projects, clients, tasks and invoices come on top. A free plan covers one person with two projects. Buezli costs CHF 99 per active user per year, with no usage charges.
What are Harvest's usage fees?
Harvest bills usage in one of two ways. Flex adds charges based on the previous period's active projects, clients, tasks and invoicing above a free allowance. Unlimited charges a fixed usage fee. Harvest doesn't publish these rates on its pricing page or in its help center. Its own example shows a bill rising from USD 44 for seats to USD 404.
Can I import my Harvest data into Buezli?
No, there is no importer. You set up your active clients, projects and tasks by hand and start tracking in Buezli from a cutover date. Keep your Harvest reports and invoices for your records.
Does Buezli have a timer like Harvest?
No. In Buezli you enter durations in a weekly timesheet or a day view. If your team relies on Harvest's timer and native apps, that's a good reason to stay with Harvest.
Harvest vs Toggl: which is better for invoicing?
Harvest stores, sends and tracks invoices and accepts online payments. Toggl creates a one-off PDF from a report, which isn't stored or sent and has no payment status. Buezli is closer to Harvest here: invoices are numbered, sent by email and tracked until they're paid.
