What to fill in on the invoice template

The template has a field for everything an invoice usually needs, but the exact rules depend on your country and VAT status, so check with your accountant or tax office when in doubt.

Is there a faster way than filling in a template?

Yes. The free invoice generator on this site fills in the totals for you and creates the PDF directly in your browser, without an account.
